*Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration – 2026*
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is an important Indian festival celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm across the country. The festival commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is worshipped as the remover of obstacles and the symbol of wisdom, knowledge, prosperity, and new beginnings.
Aditya Group of Institutions celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 18 September 2026 at the AGI Campus with great devotion and enthusiasm. Celebration brought together the management, principals, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students in a positive and festive atmosphere. The traditional Ganesh Pooja created a spiritually enriching atmosphere and inspired participants to reflect on the values of wisdom, humility, prosperity, and perseverance embodied by Lord Ganesha.
The celebration was further enlivened by devotional music, fostering a vibrant and harmonious environment across the campus. The distribution of Prasada symbolized unity, gratitude, and community spirit among students, faculty, and staff. Overall, the celebration served as a meaningful platform to uphold Indian traditions, encourage collective participation, and reinforce the values of unity, respect, and social harmony within the AGI community.

Aditya Institute of Management Studies, as an initiative of the IQAC , IIC and Finance Forum, organised a workshop on Angel Investment / VC Funding Opportunities and Using AI for Fundraising and Investor Pitch Preparation. The session provided students with valuable insights into the startup funding ecosystem, angel investments, venture capital opportunities, and the key aspects investors consider while evaluating business ideas. It also highlighted the importance of a strong business model, market potential, financial viability, and an effective investor pitch.

The workshop further focused on the practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in fundraising and investor pitch preparation. Students gained insights into how AI tools can support idea refinement, market research, pitch deck creation, financial analysis, storytelling, and preparation for investor interactions. The initiative reflected Aditya Institute of Management Studies’ commitment to promoting financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and technology-enabled learning among students.

OUTCOME

The programme enhanced students’ understanding of startup funding avenues, investor expectations, and the role of AI in fundraising. It encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities, develop investor-ready ideas, and use AI tools to create structured and compelling investor pitches. Overall, the session strengthened their entrepreneurial mindset, financial awareness, innovation skills, and preparedness to approach potential investors.

HIGHLIGHTS
Aditya Institute of Management Studies organized an informative session on “New Labour Code of India – Implementing from May 2026 by GOI” on 17 August 2026 as an initiative of IQAC, Institutions Innovation Council and HR Forum. The session focused on creating awareness about the major changes introduced through the new labour framework and its relevance to the contemporary employment environment. The programme highlighted important areas such as wages, social security, industrial relations, and occupational safety, providing participants with an overview of the changing regulatory landscape.

The session was led by Dr. Ravi, Principal, PNC Degree College, Kadugodi, Whitefield, Bangalore, who elaborated on the implications of the new Labour Codes for employees and organizations. The discussion emphasized the importance of understanding statutory provisions, workplace rights, employer responsibilities, and labour-law compliance. The session provided participants with practical insights into how the new framework could influence organizational policies, employment practices, and employee welfare.

Outcome

The session enhanced participants’ awareness and understanding of the New Labour Codes and their implications for the Indian employment ecosystem. Participants gained insights into key areas of labour regulation, employee welfare, workplace safety, social security, and organizational compliance. The programme also encouraged greater awareness of responsible employment practices and the importance of staying updated with evolving labour regulations.

Aditya College of Physiotherapy successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme titled “Parkinson’s Disease – A Clinical Overview for Therapists” on 12/08/2026 at the Seminar Hall.

The programme was attended by approximately 100 students, who actively participated and benefited from the session. The esteemed speaker delivered an informative and insightful presentation, covering important clinical aspects of Parkinson’s disease and its relevance to therapeutic management.

The session provided valuable knowledge and enhanced the understanding of our Physiotherapy students regarding the clinical presentation, assessment, management, and therapeutic considerations associated with Parkinson’s disease. The practical insights shared by the speaker will be highly beneficial to the students during their academic course and future clinical practice.

Aditya College of Physiotherapy successfully organized the 10th webinar of the Physio Edu Series–2026 on 22 August 2026

The webinar was conducted on the topic “Beyond Falls: Understanding Frailty in Geriatric Rehabilitation.” The session focused on the importance of recognizing frailty among older adults and understanding its implications for functional independence, fall risk, mobility, and rehabilitation outcomes. The topic provided valuable insights into the broader aspects of geriatric rehabilitation beyond conventional fall prevention.The session provided an opportunity for faculty members and students to enhance their knowledge regarding frailty, its clinical relevance, and the role of physiotherapy in comprehensive geriatric rehabilitation.

The resource person for the webinar was Dr. Thillaivignesh Balasubramanian (PT), MPT – Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders, Assistant Professor, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar, Karnataka. With his expertise in neurological rehabilitation and related areas, Dr. Thillaivignesh delivered an informative and academically enriching session for the participants.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions and Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Chairperson, Aditya Group of Institutions. Dr. Vebaku Madhu, Principal, Aditya College of Physiotherapy served as the Convener.

The webinar was an academically valuable initiative under the Physio Edu Series–2026 contributing to continuous professional development and strengthening knowledge in contemporary physiotherapy practice. Aditya Group of Institutions Celebrates Founder’s Day and Guru Vandana with Grandeur Aditya Group of Institutions, Yelahanka, celebrated Founder’s Day and Guru Vandana with great enthusiasm, paying heartfelt tribute to the invaluable role of teachers in shaping society and nurturing future generations.
Addressing the gathering, National Award-winning teacher Mr. B. V. Nagaraj said that only a dedicated and inspiring teacher can bring about meaningful transformation in society. He congratulated Dr. Vishwanath for organizing the unique programme and appreciated his commitment to recognising the contributions of teachers.
The distinguished guests and mentors of Dr. Vishwanath-Prof. Dr. T. Rajagopalan, Dr. Srinivasan, and Dr. M. D. Karvekar-highlighted the importance of values, ethics, and humanity in education. They encouraged students to pursue knowledge with discipline, integrity, and a spirit of service, thereby contributing meaningfully to nation-building.

Aditya College of Law successfully organized an insightful Moot Court Workshop aimed at enhancing the practical advocacy skills of law students. The workshop was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and real-time courtroom practice.

The session focused on key aspects of moot court proceedings, including case analysis, memorial drafting, legal research, and effective oral arguments. Students were guided on how to present cases confidently, structure arguments logically, and respond to judicial queries with clarity and precision.

Experienced legal professionals and faculty members conducted interactive sessions, sharing valuable insights from real courtroom experiences. The workshop also included mock presentations, allowing students to actively participate and gain hands-on exposure to courtroom dynamics.
