A Career Guidance Program on Higher Education was conducted at Aditya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Bangalore, organized in association with Global Career Academy. The session aimed to enlighten students about opportunities for pursuing higher education abroad, including academic pathways, admission processes, scholarships, and career prospects at international universities.
The program was arranged under the guidance of Dr. M. S. Ganesha Prasad, Principal, ACET, whose continuous encouragement and support made the event a success. The session witnessed active participation from students across various departments who were keen to explore global education opportunities.
The experts from Global Career Academy addressed the students and provided detailed insights on:
- Choosing the right country and university for higher education
- Admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and standardized tests (GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
- Scholarship opportunities and financial planning for studying abroad
- Preparing effective Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
- Post-study work opportunities and global career prospects
The session was highly informative and interactive, helping students gain a clear understanding of the steps involved in pursuing education overseas. Students also clarified their queries related to university selection, visa procedures, and career pathways after graduation.
